Role Summary
The Director – Process Excellence will lead the design, execution, and scale-up of Iron Mountain GBS’s process excellence programs. The role will focus on embedding a structured improvement culture using Lean Six Sigma, driving enterprise-wide standardization, and enabling measurable business impact through SOP governance, capability uplift, and cross-functional collaboration with business partners and GPO teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process diagnostics and improvement initiatives across onboarding to cash, billing, procurement, and customer service.
Drive Lean Six Sigma deployments, mentor Green Belt project leaders, and build internal continuous improvement muscle.
Champion process standardization, SOP rollouts, and operating model enhancements across GBS locations.
Collaborate with the Automation and Analytics teams to ensure seamless integration of technology into process improvements.
Support business units in identifying CTQs (Critical to Quality) metrics, project charters, and delivering quantifiable outcomes (e.g., FTE, cycle time, working capital).
Partner with the GPO office to codify and scale best practices across customer excellence and commercial expansion.
Experience and Qualifications
18+ years in Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Business Transformation roles within shared services or GBS.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt (mandatory).
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional improvement programs in a matrixed organization.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to lead with both strategic vision and hands-on execution.
