Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to generate actionable insights and support business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes, automate reporting, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, including writing complex queries and joins.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Git for version control.
• Experience in complex joins and data transformations across multiple tables.
• Ability to generate and automate reports based on operational requirements.
• Knowledge of payment gateways, banking systems, or reconciliation processes in fintech is an advantage.
Required Skills:
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal team.
• Ability to own and deliver projects proactively with minimal supervision.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving approach for data-driven decision-making.
• Good time management skills to meet time-sensitive requirements.
• Documentation skills to maintain clear and structured records of processes and deliverables.
• Strong attention to detail to minimize errors in data handling and reporting.
• Experience in monitoring transaction flows and identifying anomalies or fraudulent activities.
Eligibility & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• A master’s degree is a plus.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, SQL, and reporting.
