The Efficiency Ops Product Manager will manage the end-to-end product delivery process, own the product backlog, and lead the agile development team while utilizing AI for efficiency improvements.

1. Product Owner
You will own the product delivery process end-to-end, working directly with stakeholders and guiding a lean team of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritised, and sprint-ready at all times
- Drive spec-driven development practices, using AI agents to generate, refine, and validate feature specifications
- Delegate structured research, documentation, and requirements drafting tasks to AI agents and review outputs before they enter the backlog
- Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder alignment sessions
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the engineering team
- Gather, translate, and document feature requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and blockers to all stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in a Product Owner or Product Manager role, ideally within a software delivery or platform engineering context
- Minimum AI Maturity Level 3** — you regularly delegate scoped tasks (spec writing, user story generation, research, documentation) to AI agents and review at the output level, not line by line
- Can demonstrate real examples of AI-delegated work from recent roles — not just AI-assisted writing
- Strong experience with agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and backlog management tooling
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-moving, lean team environments with high delivery accountability
- Comfortable working with technical stakeholders and translating business requirements into engineering-ready specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Prior experience supporting platform or internal tooling products
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript engineering environments
Experience working in a managed services or outsourced delivery model
