Role Value Proposition:
As a member of MetLife's Global Technology Emerging Technology Product Management team, you will help accelerate the next phase of MetLife's AI Transformation! Our team provides a leadership role in the Enterprise evolution, increasing quality of insights, along with solution acceleration and reuse. We are looking for an AI product manager that will grow our process, content and validation within our Enterprise AI Portfolio supporting our execution of a multi-year technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Emerging Technology Product Manager supports the development and management of AI solutions and support use cases, ensuring alignment with customer. This involves understanding market needs, coordinating with various leaders and technology teams, and ensuring the solution meets its goals. The role is critical for bridging the gap between technical development and market demand. This role involves collaboration across portfolios and monitoring execution excellence to drive improvements.
- Assist in the development and management of our Enterprise AI Portfolio. Providing visibility from conception to launch, ensuring AI Solutions meet customer needs and business goals.
- Assist in conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and designers to develop Classic AI and GenAI features and functionalities.
- Monitor and analyze responsible use, product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps and timelines.
- Participate in user testing and gather feedback to refine product features.
- Prepare and present AI Solution updates and reports to stakeholders.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Overall, 7 - 10 years of experience in a consulting background or similar industry.
- Understanding of emerging AI trends, technologies, and their business applications in the financial services industry, especially insurance.
- Strong analytical skills to understand business problems and conduct market assessments to identify fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with ability to tell a compelling story by connecting business needs with emerging technology solutions.
- Ability to collaborate between technology teams, line of businesses and leadership.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across levels and functions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Certified Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC).
- Certified Scaled Agile Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
- Knowledge of work management tools (e.g., Targetprocess, Azure DevOps).
The salary range for applicants for this position is $110,000 - $190,000.
