About the position:
An individual working in Engagement and change experience brings empathy, drive, guidance, consultancy, facilitation, transparency, influencing, and a focus on the people side to drive the overall informatics ambitions and foster a people-centric culture.
You will offer support and challenge to the wider employee engagement community not only on strategies to engage the organization but also (where applicable) to a specific Site, Domain or Chapter.
It is a role that senses the organization. In doing so, she/he collaborates closely with colleagues across the organization to evaluate the need to support the organization in regard to internal changes and engagement activities. She/He regularly gathers insights and feedback from the organization to drive change and/or engagement efforts and approaches. The ultimate responsibility for her/him is to ensure the organization is a great place to work where everyone is engaged and with that is enabled to perform to their best potential.
In your daily work you build on global Roche Engagement concepts and frameworks as well as connect with peers across Informatics to contribute to an overall positive employee experience in Informatics and Roche.
Your key responsibilities:

Employee Engagement & Employee Experience - Engages with employees on all levels and ensures a good employee experience and a great place to work

Lead the development of strategic content that connects and showcases the value of the organization and how it directly impacts patients and Roche’s 10-Year Ambitions

Lead workshops to understand and uncover the needs of organization

Support and facilitate site or team engagement/community building activities and events to create a sense of team within the organization

Co-create engagement outcomes and metrics to gauge effectiveness

Utilize feedback from the organization to drive change and engagement efforts and approaches

Engage the business to understand the needs and deliver what it expects from the organization

Engage the audience depending on the Change Management strategy (ADKAR, Lewis models) to ensure effective knowledge transfer and adoption.

Contribute to the design, development and implementation of communication strategies and plans to ensure consistent, timely and relevant key messaging with affected stakeholders

Build positive relationships with stakeholders by working collaboratively to identify and achieve common goals

Track and deliver training and communication against the roadmap, anticipating and addressing potential barriers
Skills/Capabilities:

Define and lead communication tactics & efforts according to needs of the organization supporting the Employee Experience and Engagement aims

Support the development, refinement, and dissemination of the organization’s unique value proposition and key messages

Develop, implement, and manage Informatics channel strategy within the organization to increase effectiveness of communication tactics.

Collaborate and influence Site Leadership Team on Site Engagement objectives and execution

Work with Org Unit Head and team to plan and execute Core and Extended Leadership activities

Challenge and support the leadership team to live the mindset & culture and keep the LT accountable for role modeling the behaviors (creative leadership, psychological safety, speak up culture etc.)

Highly effective at building relationships, teams and collaborating with others. Ability to inspire, engage and leverage a diverse workforce, including contractors, employees and consultants.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, present complex and/or new ideas with clarity and simplicity.

Outstanding project management skills and ability to flex and multitask in a shifting environment. Takes a proactive approach to anticipating needs and leads with recommendations.

Expertise in business partnering and consulting to determine client/customer needs and build effective relationships.

Knowledge of emerging and evolving technologies. Ability to understand technical jargon and distill into simple user facing communications & learning

Knowledge and experience working with change management practices and instructional design methodologies

Proficiency with Google Suite, Cornerstone (LMS), video production, and graphic design software.

Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives.
Your qualifications and experience:

5-8 years of experience or related knowledge in Engagement, Communications or Change Management
-
Strong background in understanding organizational dynamics and diverse user and employee needs
-
Culturally aware and has the ability to work and thrive in an agile environment
-
Proactive self-starter; ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently with minimal supervision.

Challenges the organization to be curious, questions the status quo & embraces new ways of working, demonstrating “can-do” attitude.

Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and under pressure (being comfortable with being uncomfortable).
