We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer specializing in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development, systems architecture, and ALM tools and methodologies. As an Engineer for ALM, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our ALM processes to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ALM solutions that support the entire software, electronics and mechanical development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business analysts, to define and refine ALM processes and best practices.
- Evaluate and select appropriate ALM tools and technologies to meet the needs of the organization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on ALM-related topics.
- Ensure ALM solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze ALM metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in ALM and software development methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of Work-Related Experience
- Proven experience as an Engineer, with a focus on ALM.
- Understanding of Software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
- Proficiency in ALM tools such as PTC Codebeamer, PTC RV&S, IBM ELM Jazz or similar.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
