What Information Security and Risk contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Information Security and Risk develop, implements, and enforces security controls to protect the organization's technology assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction. This job family develops system back-up and disaster recovery plans. Information Technology also conducts incident response, threat management, vulnerability scanning, virus management and intrusion detection and completes risk assessments.
Qualifications
9+ years' experience in IT Development projects & bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Master engineer, technologist, and coach with a desire to develop products that positively impact lives.
Leader, self-starter, and love to solve problems through technology
Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to learn new technologies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a good work ethic
Aptitude to contribute to strategic goal setting for department/business unit
Knowledge:
Hands on experience managing IAM technologies like Okta, SiteMinder, SailPoint IIQ
Experience working with Okta Workflows
Advanced expertise in reporting and analytical tools like Tableau, Splunk
Intermediate expertise in scripting in either PowerShell, Python, bash etc.
Experience working on Security best practices based on CIS/NIST CSF or Regulatory frameworks like SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST etc.
Working experience of Agile methodologies like Kanban, Scrum
Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio/Lucid Chart, Planner/Jira
Complexity:
Able to corelate and analyze data from multiple IAM systems and create an identity map
Able to think both tactically and strategically to develop technical solutions and/or processes for multiple IAM technologies listed above
Able to delegate work and provide guidance/document procedures for junior team members on task completion
Lead activities around new product evaluations, Proof of Concept, FY project charters
Able to identify process, technical or security gaps in the IAM environment and provide solutions on remediation
Able to define and implement controls/patterns to comply with IAM best practices and CAH Security and Regulatory policies
Supervision:
Coach and mentor junior team members on IAM initiatives, career growth & development pan Communication: Strong oral and written communication Able to communicate clearly and effectively to level +2 management as well as to other engineers Able to break down technical jargon into business-friendly terms

Able to lead meetings, driving decisions
Able to collaborate and coordinate initiatives within and across teams and organizations
Able to take accountability for one’s actions, is responsive to communications via email, IM, texts and calls, is not afraid to escalate or highlight issues to leadership and is able to set right expectations with peers and leadership on task execution/completion.
