Guidewire specific skills:• Very good understanding of Guidewire framework, architecture and implementation• Deep understanding of Policy Center• Hands on experience with Guidewire integrations mechanisms - Messaging, Web Services, Plugins• Hands on experience with Guidewire configurations - Product Model, PCFs, Data Model• Understanding of Guidewire digital/Edge APIs platform• Excellent programming skills in Gosu and scripting• Experience in writing unit and functional tests• An understanding of the insurance business, an ability to talk to business analysts and SMEs to translate business requirements into system changes
Development Skills:• Must be highly competent in SQL• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and methodologies• Hands-on experience working in SCRUM based agile teams• Experience with the Open API specification and Swagger tooling• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices
