The Engineer III, Software is an experienced professional who participates in leading, creating and extending Omnicell products. This person is a highly skilled developer who can apply industry and corporate best practices to produce quality applications. This person applies their practical and theoretical knowledge from Computer Science and previous experience in healthcare or a related industry. This person works as part of a team to design and develop new products as well as maintain Omnicell’s current portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Independently develop C++, C# .NET features for ADC (Automated Dispensing Cabinet) user interfaces, dispensing logic, and analytics using OOPS and Design patterns.
- Own unit/integration testing and mocking for error-free cabinet operations.
- Act as SME in 1-2 areas (e.g., APIs/DB); contribute to ADC(Automated Dispensing Cabinet) system designs.
- Troubleshoot complex issues.
- Follow Agile methodologies
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- 5-8 years in C++, C#, .NET Framework, Windows application development
- Expert OOPS and design patterns, testing proficiency.
- SQL Server/Dapper, Web API for secure ADC services.
- Strong analytics for developing scalable solutions.
