Customer-facing role: You'll be the face of Optiva, working directly with customers to resolve issues.
24/7 availability: This role requires working shifts to provide round-the-clock support.
Technical Expertise: (Advantage & Preferrence)understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking, and TCP/IP. Experience with GCP, cloud systems, and telecommunications protocols is a major plus.
Problem-Solving Skills: You'll be troubleshooting and resolving technical faults, so strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
Communication Skills: You'll need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and managing Optiva infrastructure and applications.
Performing health checks and troubleshooting issues.
Providing technical support, including software releases, upgrades, and node expansions.
Participating in emergency support activities.
Ensuring high availability and zero downtime.
Collaborating with other teams for advanced troubleshooting.
Handling day-to-day operations on a shift basis.
Maintaining nodes to prevent hardware issues.
Scripting (Shell/Perl) knowledge is a plus.
Eligibility:
Engineering from E&TC or Computer science or BCA / MCA. (Fresher or upto 1 year of experience in Telecom domain )
Familiarity with GPRS, GSM, and charging systems is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix, application servers, and networking protocols. (Certifications of Linux, Cloud will be preferred)
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Computer Science or Engineering degree.
Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
