About this opportunity:
At Ericsson, we are currently looking for a qualified and motivated MS Core and Cloud Specialist. This role is fundamentally dedicated to providing technology leadership, specialist knowledge, and extended support in our Core and Cloud domains which include CS Core, PS Core, IMS, IP Core and Cloud. Our Cloud and Core Specialist sits within a dynamic team, contributing to our Managed Services deliverables as part of the Ericsson Operations Engine.
What you will do:
The Domain Support Specialist is responsible for performing various configuration changes in CORE nodes especially STP/ DRA. The changes include:

• Working Hours: 24X7 (Shift basis, primarily continuous night shifts)
• DRA routing table configurations.
• Diameter Interfaces integration on DRA.
• Config of Routing groups, IP tables, failovers, peer groups, etc in SCP.
• Multiple rule-based configuration in Oracle DSR
• Traffic routing table definitions in Oracle DSR
• NPDB configurations (IMSI, DN, SPID).
• SCCP related Configuration.
• Sigtran / ATM/ TDM (LSL, HSL) configuration.
• MTP Configuration Changes.
• SCCP/ MTP traffic migrations.
• New Node Integration.
• GSM MAP Screening and FLOBR/ TOBR based screening configs.
• Hardware additions, software patch updates.
• Feature / Service enabling.
• Excellent knowledge of SS7 and DIAMETER and 5G call flows.
• Coordination with Planning/ Customer/Back office /Project etc.

Functional Skills:

• Good Technical and hands on knowledge of the specific CORE nodes especially ORACLE and HUAWEI STP/ NPDB/ DRA and ERICSSON SCP.
• Good understanding and adherence to all Processes related to routines activities and stakeholder management.
• Good coordination skills, proactiveness and good communications skills.

Technical Competence:

• Good knowledge on SS7 Protocols and call flows (i.e. SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, Diameter, CS1+)
• Good knowledge of Diameter protocols and call flows (S6a, S6d, S13, SWx, Gx, Gy and other interface types).
• Good Technical competence on Huawei SPS (STP and DRA) and PGW.
• Good Technical competence on Oracle DSR and Ericsson SCP.
• Good Technical competence on ORACLE Eagle 5 STP and ORACLE NPDB.
• Understanding of 2g, 4g and 5g Network Architecture, interfaces and call flows.

Candidate Prerequisites:

• Qualifications: Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Relevant Experience: 4-8 years in relevant Telecom Core signaling domain.
• Technical and/or functional skills: Network Nodes/GSM/SS7/ DIAMETER/ SIGTRAN/HTTPS
• The primary purpose is to take responsibility for Configuration activities related to CORE (STP/ DRA/ SCP) Network.
