Qualifications
- Proven experience in engineering leadership or people management roles, managing diverse teams across multiple projects or service lines
- Strong technical background across infrastructure domains, including networking (routing, switching, SD-WAN), unified communications (UC, UCCE, VoIP), wireless (WiFi), data center, security, and end user computing (EUC)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure, along with exposure to automation tools and frameworks
- Solid understanding of professional services delivery models and customer engagement practices
- Ability to effectively balance people management responsibilities with technical oversight
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage diverse teams

Job Summary
The Infrastructure Services Engineering Manager is a proven leader responsible for nurturing, developing, and supporting a team of engineers working across customer engagements. Reporting to a Senior Manager, this role focuses on career growth, productivity, and overall success of engineering talent rather than direct project execution. The manager ensures engineers are equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and guidance to excel, while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of infrastructure engineers (full-time and contractors)
- Drive career development, coaching, and continuous learning for direct reports
- Manage staffing, utilization, and capacity planning across professional services engagements
- Act as an escalation point for engineering-related customer issues
- Collaborate with peer managers to achieve practice and organizational goals
- Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and external partners
- Evaluate and improve engineering processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and profitability
- Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement
