We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong SQL expertise to support data integration and transformation initiatives within a banking and compliance environment. The ideal candidate will work independently while contributing effectively to compliance technology projects, preferably involving Actimize solutions and UDM-based data models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL workflows using Talend (preferred) and/or SSIS
- Develop and support data pipelines aligned with Actimize Unified Data Model (UDM)
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform performance optimization
- Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data, Compliance, and Business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data-related issues efficiently
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes and data flows
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Talend ETL (preferred) and/or SSIS
- Solid understanding of Actimize UDM and data ingestion frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and version management
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in banking and compliance domains
- Hands-on experience with Actimize solutions (SAM / CDD / IFM)
- Understanding of data governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
