Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. As an Experience Research Senior Associate in the Wealth Management Experience Research team, you will leverage advanced research methods to identify customer needs and translate them into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform the design and strategy of our Wealth offerings, directly impacting user experience and business outcomes.
Job responsibilities
- Conduct research studies using advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to gather customer insights
- Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and provide actionable recommendations for user experience design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user insights into product development
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of experience research strategies aligned with business goals
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate relevant knowledge into team insights
- Synthesize qualitative findings into clear, actionable feedback for design and product teams
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Three years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience research using advanced research methods
- Demonstrated proficiency in qualitative research methods, interview design, ethnography, and data analysis
- Advanced knowledge of user experience design principles and practices
- Advanced understanding of current research methodologies and their application to experience design
- Ability to break down business or design problems into iterative studies and collaborate with designers
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate research findings and design decisions
- Ability to work independently and remotely on team projects
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Experience conducting cadence-based evaluative research
- Experience in wealth management, investments, banking, or other financial domains
- Basic quantitative research skills
