The Team:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in testing Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations through both manual and automated testing.
The Role:
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications.
- Validate Salesforce configurations, custom objects, workflows, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components.
- Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test cases.
- Execute test cases, log defects, and track them through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct data validation between Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Participate in release cycles, sandbox testing, and production verification testing.
- Support UAT planning and execution with business users.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, traceability matrices, and test summary reports.
- Optionally, develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Provar, or Copado Robotic Testing.
What you’ll bring:
- 3–4 years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom apps.
- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of SOQL/SOSL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing).
- Knowledge of CI/CD and version control tools like Git or Copado
