Provides services in the area of financial planning, accounting, controlling, reporting, performance management, tax, investor relations, treasury, and mergers and acquisitions. 

Subfamily Description 

Global Accounting (GAC) comprises global end-to-end accounting processes with high quality, timeliness, and continuous efficiency improvement. Covers processing of accounting transactions to ensure accurate reporting in accordance to Nokia's accounting and reporting principles and local statutory regulations

Responsibilities
  • Perform end-to-end intercompany accounting activities, including invoice posting, matching, validation, and reconciliations.
  • Execute IC reconciliation (AR/AP/GL alignment), balance confirmations, and ageing analysis to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Coordinate intercompany netting cycles and ensure accurate clearing of balances during month-end close.
  • Develop, implement, and support AI-driven and automation solutions using RPA and Power Platform to improve efficiency and controls.
  • Perform preventive and detective controls to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOX/internal controls, regulatory requirements, SLAs, and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, analytics, and actionable insights to support management decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, drive process improvements, and identify opportunities for AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications

Must Have Skills 

  • 2 years of experience in Accounting/Finance with AI and automation exposure. 
  • Hands-on experience with RPA, Power Platform, or similar AI automation tools. 
  • Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial controls, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with attention to data

Nice to Have Skills 

  • Exposure to SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Ability to work in a global, cross-cultural environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and integration of finance processes with digital tools.
