Finance Functional Consultant (D365-FO)

This exciting opportunity offers the opportunity to update our D365FO finance template and among many other activities, involves conducting detailed analysis of current business processes and workflows, collaborating with key Finance stakeholders to understand and address business requirements, and implementing strategic enhancements to optimize our finance processes.  

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes and workflows. 

• Assess the current D365FO template to understand existing configurations and customizations. 

• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements. 

• Identify gaps and underutilized features in the current system template. 

• Develop a blueprint for the updated D365FO template with Global Process Owners and ERP Product Owners. 

• Support ERP Product Owners in system configuration and UAT process. 

• Configure D365FO modules/features according to the template blueprint. 

• Stay updated with the latest D365FO features and industry best practices. 

• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to the D365FO template. 

• Regularly review system performance and gather user feedback for further enhancement. 

• Provide ongoing support to ERP Product Owners with D365FO expertise. 

Requirements: 

• Education at a Bachelor or Master level in Finance or Digital area; 

• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles; 

• At least 3-5 years’ of experience within the field of implementing D365FO and/or improving/updating the template in Finance area; 

• Proven track record in optimizing processes through D365FO configuration; 

• Fluency in verbal and written English; 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; 

• Available for travelling from time to time. 

Nice to have: 

• D365FO certification would be seen as a clear advantage; 

• Project management experience is a plus; 

• Knowledge of other languages is beneficial;
