Manage TDS-related activities including extraction of reports, payments, compliance with tax laws, and coordination with tax consultants. Stay updated on tax legislation and support audits.
Vendor related TDS activities support & Compliance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extraction of Monthly TDS liability reports
- Payment of the TDS Liability before statutory date
- Manage the preparation and filing of TDS returns, ensuring compliance with applicable income tax laws.
- Coordination with TAX consultant
- Response to TDS notices on Trace portal
- Update to AP team on TDS changes & Rules
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company's TDS obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to address specific tax issues and ensure compliance.
- Support in Tax audit & Statutory audit schedules in respect of TDS
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in tax compliance, specifically with TDS.
- Strong knowledge of income tax laws and regulations related to TDS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with tax compliance software and ERP systems.
