You will delve into extensive datasets, generate impactful analyses, formulate recommendations, and ensure their implementation. We seek candidates who are passionate about uncovering insights through deep analysis and driving impactful outcomes.

Problems you’ll solve in this role:

  • Own data and analytics assets within your area, operating at the intersection of Product Analytics, Analytics Engineering and Data Science
  • Guide the product team by addressing critical issues using data and insights and developing relevant KPIs to measure impact.
  • Make our vast data on processes accessible and actionable for product teams across Wise, enabling them to access information proactively and independently.
  • Own setting definitions and monitoring processes for key metrics and results for your product team, ensuring accountability throughout the quarter.
  • Develop frameworks for managing risk and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Drive the discovery phase by identifying new opportunities and suggesting initiatives to reduce financial crime through meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Machine Learning Scientists, and Operations teams.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be part of a positive change in the world. We’re fixing a broken, system, and putting people and businesses in control of their money
  • Create value from extensive datasets. We have millions of customers, a global set of payment infrastructure and a complex product that customers can use in different ways. There is a ton of value left to unlock from this data!
  • Influence the team’s direction. Analysts at Wise enable data-driven decision making and have a large impact by helping their teams to decide what to work on.
  • Learn from a global network of professionals. We have a large, diverse team of analysts, data scientists and product managers that you will work with and learn from.

Qualifications

A bit about you:

  • You have strong quantitative skills. Ideally a background in statistics, maths, physics, engineering, or other scientific area.

  • You have experience with A/B testing

  • You have a strong, hands-on experience with SQL and Python/R

  • You have strong communication skills and an ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions

  • You have an ability to structure business problems with minimal supervision and an ability to prioritise problems independently, as well as condense complex systems/ideas into simple-to-understand models
