About Our Client

Our client is a social discovery app that connects food lovers with trusted restaurant recommendations from friends, experts, and curated lists, helping users discover and save the best dining spots across major cities.

About the Role

As a Flutter Developer, you’ll take ownership of our mobile app. You’ll be responsible for building new consumer features (personalised feed, Foodboards, gamification, expert recs), scaling performance, and supporting the rollout of our client’s application (SaaS tool).

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to see their work directly shape a fast-scaling consumer product.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve core app features in Flutter (iOS + Android).
• Integrate with APIs, backend services (Supabase, Postgres, Prisma), and third-party tools (Algolia, Firebase).
• Collaborate with product and design on user experience-driven development.
• Optimise app performance, debugging, and scalability as user base grows.
• Support deployment processes to App Store and Google Play.
• Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, and roadmap planning.
• Keep up-to-date with Flutter/Dart ecosystem to ensure best practices.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years building production apps in Flutter/Dart.
• Solid understanding of state management, navigation, and widget lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of API integrations, authentication, and database-driven apps.
• Familiarity with Supabase, Firebase, Algolia, or Mapbox is a bonus.
• Experience shipping apps at scale (consumer apps with thousands of users ideal).
