About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and diligent Finance Manager to join the Finance Payments team. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making across the Financial Services organization through insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic recommendations related to payments.
The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, excels at solving complex problems, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This person will partner cross-functionally across Finance, Controllership, and the Payments business to improve visibility, support operational excellence, and help drive informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out FP&A activities within the Payments function, with a strong focus on payment operations, reporting, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
Manage payment-related queries' end to end, ensuring timely follow-up, investigation, and resolution.
Partner closely with cross-functional team members to align on cost-saving initiatives, assumptions, outputs, timelines, and expectations related to cost of payments.
Collaborate across Controllership, Finance, and the Payments function to forecast payment costs accurately and support strategic decision-making.
Identify and drive opportunities for process standardization, automation, and systems improvements across payments workflows.
Develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and insights to support operational monitoring and decision-making.
Perform ad hoc analyses and data pulls to support business requests, reconciliations, operational reviews, and leadership reporting.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and informal leadership to analysts as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, accounting, business analysis, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with financial modeling skills.
Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, SAP, and Anaplan.
Strong proficiency in SQL, advanced querying, data transformation, joins, aggregation and performance optimization
Experience using AI and generative AI tools to improve efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance execution.
Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning concepts.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage several priorities at once.
Prior experience mentoring, leading workstreams, or managing team members is a strong plus
