This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in the office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. Join our small, award-winning, multi-disciplinary team, whose work has been featured at numerous companywide events and regularly contributes to GoDaddy's internal open-source projects. You will be building out GoDaddy's next-generation Domain Security products, leveraging horizontal scaling solutions such as NodeJS, and the latest browser frameworks like React building reusable components, best in best-in-class UIs, employing a customer focused data-driven framework to generate rapid results.

We're looking for a full-stack software engineer who works with web technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React JS. You will be working on GoDaddy's Domain Security and other Domain name-related products. As a full-stack engineer, your duties will involve client-side development, as well as server-side API development and integration efforts.

What you will get to do...

• Help build highly scalable products that help small businesses succeed online with great user experiences.
• Work on a remote-first team of software engineers, product management, user experience designers, and data scientists within a supportive environment where you will have the flexibility to structure your day.
• Write well-tested, modern JavaScript / TypeScript using frameworks like React JS, NodeJS, and Express.
• Deliver a great customer experience via experimentation and data, solving problems spanning the front end to the back end.
• Embrace Agile methodologies to continuously release and deploy iterations of our services.
• Help establish and monitor metrics to ensure product and customer success, including real-time application monitoring and performance profiling of our applications.

Your experiences should include...

• 1+ years of professional experience building products and services.
• A strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, React JS, and the underlying standard web technologies. Redux, Next.js, Webpack, and ES6/ES2015+ features are a huge plus.
• Experience with automated testing code and using test frameworks.
• A good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

You might also have...

• A Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, UX, or related industry experience.
• Experience developing APIs and Services using Golang.
• Experience with experimentation-driven development.
• Contributed to or managed open-source projects.
• Prior work experience with AWS.
