As Frontend Engineer on our team, you will take part in developing our cutting edge application that has a real impact on millions of customers' lives. You will also work closely with the Product, Design and Quality teams to constantly improve our products and services based on a data-driven approach along with direct feedback from our customers. This role will report to our Director of Engineering and will be based in our Bangalore office.
You Will:
- Be involved in leading frontend development with a strong regional focus on all markets outside the Americas, ensuring local needs, constraints, and user behaviours are built into the product.
- Act as one of the foundational frontend engineers for the team, setting technical direction and standards while helping hire, onboard, and grow additional frontend engineers.
- Create complex client flows and business logic, emphasising reusability and quality.
- Build performant and scalable client systems, keeping them up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
You Have:
- 4+ years of experience building and delivering production code.
- Must have dealt with a large codebase or a super app with state management, performance optimization, and compatibility.
- 2+ years of experience with React.js or React Native.
- Experience with building and debugging mobile apps.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6+, TypeScript).
- Experience with API standards such as GraphQL, REST, etc.
- Experience with Jest / Enzyme / React Testing Library.
- Enthusiastic about building consumer-facing products with great UX and UI.
