Rubrik is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with 4-6 years of relevant industry experience to join our IT development team. In this role, you will proactively contribute to designing, building, and maintaining custom projects and applications that support Rubrik's internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication capability, a strong product mindset, and thrives in collaborative environments.
Responsibilities- Develop robust, high-quality, and scalable code for various applications and modules.
- Write and maintain unit test cases to ensure code reliability and quality.
- Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and implement solutions effectively.
- Proactively communicate development status, including project progress, risks, issues, and milestones.
- Ensure the timely delivery of assigned tasks with adherence to quality standards.
- Manage application deployment activities, including post-deployment monitoring and support.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain and manage development environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience in Software Development.
- Strong coding experience in web-based technologies, particularly Python (including frameworks such as Flask) and/or JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Working knowledge of Java is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Experience in DevOps practices and familiarity with AWS or similar cloud environments is preferred.
- Solid understanding of database design and proficiency in writing efficient database queries.
- Good knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB).
- Awareness of software architecture fundamentals, general design patterns, and principles.
- Proven ability to independently design and deliver projects of medium complexity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated versatility and ability to adapt comfortably to new technologies, environments, and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with newer frontend technologies and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- General understanding of best practices related to software design and development.
