Job Title: Tableau Lead Developer - AVP
Location: Pune, India
Role Description:
- We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau Lead Developer with strong client-facing experience and Tableau skills to design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards and data visualizations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Tableau, data modelling, and business intelligence, along with the ability to collaborate directly with clients & PO to understand requirements and deliver insights.
- Projects are found in the most evolving area of the Investment Banking domain - non-financial risks (NFRs). The activities shall be performed in accordance with the defined tools/technologies of the project, shall adhere to the standards and processes followed in the organization & project.

Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports. Must have a working knowledge of different types of charts, tables, filters, calculated fields, parameters, functions, blending, LODs, etc. in Tableau.
- Twisting SQL queries for improving performance & work with SQL, ETL processes, and data modelling to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders and provide strategic insights based on data analysis.
- Ensure best practices in Tableau development, performance tuning, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in Tableau and BI best practices.
Your skills and experience
- 5+ years of experience in Tableau development and 8+ years in BI or IT.
- Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Associate, or Tableau Certified Professional) will be added advantage.
- Ability to build medium to complex interactive dashboards.
- Well aware of the Agile methodology.
- Proficient in SQL, data modelling and Query performance tuning skills
- Experience in integrating Tableau with various databases and data sources.
- Able to manipulate and blend data in order to design dashboards and visualization
- Skill in identifying data issues and anomalies during the analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Tableau Server administration.
- Experience with Python for data analytics.
- Finance and banking domain knowledge added advantage.
- Must have solid presentation, communication (on complex technical solutions) and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders from business.
- Must be a strong team player/leader.
