Fullstack Technical Lead (React Native & NestJS with GraphQL)

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently guide the technical direction and implementation by the whole team within defined architecture in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.
• Evaluate trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to ensure the development of the right solution, with client success at the forefront.
• Create and lead the team's technical documentation and repository management practices, including tasks such as creating branches, pull requests, merges, etc.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to provide necessary oversight of architecture and dependencies influencing product strategy and direction.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and addressing complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
• Be an active leader in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring Senior Engineers and others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, supporting the growth of technical capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience/expertise working as a full-stack mobile engineer, with proficiency in the specified technologies.
• React Native:3 - 5 years Prior Experience as a React Native mobile app developer. 1 or more years' experience developing with Apache Cordova is a plus.
• Experience developing, building and maintaining React Native applications with clean code.
• Experience integrating on third-party API's. Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience working with native modules when required.
• Hands-on experience on mobile push notifications and in-app purchases is needed.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript language. Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle.
• Ability to work through new and difficult React Native issues.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.
• Knowledge on tools : Jira, gitlab, etc. Experience maintaining code using GIT, branching strategies and feature branches.

NestJS with GraphQL

• Professional experience in backend API development using Nest.js framework stacks/frameworks/technologies (3- 5 years) Familiarity with GraphQL concepts is a must.
• Design and build GraphQL schema.
• Work on the mobile app development cycle and its design principles Proficient in database design, architecting database schemas, optimizing data structures, and ensuring data integrity (MongoDB preferred).
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to design and implement APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the backend code.
• Hands-on experience with at least one container technology (eg. Docker) and microservice architecture projects.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the Node.js, Nest.js ecosystem and backend technologies.

Additional Experience Desired:

• Ability to set technical strategy and direct implementation across several teams/whole product.
• Ability to refine and clarify technical details (including definition of done) based on internal or external PO for User Stories and task assignments.
• Ability to provide technical orchestration among the overall tasks.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of building Cloud Native applications.
