Cin7 is an inventory management company with a globally distributed team and customers around the world. People are at the heart of what we do. As we keep growing, we need a hands-on HR leader who can partner closely with our Engineering and Product teams to build a high-performing, engaged culture.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to technology leaders, bringing HR expertise and a business perspective to how we hire, develop, reward, and retain talent. You’ll work across time zones with the Global People and Culture team to share ideas, practices, and projects that support our people and our goals. You will also lead a small team, providing day-to-day guidance, development, and performance support to your direct reports.
This is a director-level role with ownership of the people agenda for your teams. This role will have one direct report at launch: the HR Business Partner (New Zealand). You will also work with the Assistant Manager, HR & Administration (Sri Lanka) through a matrix reporting relationship. You’ll be based in Pune or Ahmedabad and will travel approximately quarterly to visit our teams in Ahmedabad/Pune, Colombo, and Dubai.
What you'll do:
Own and drive HR outcomes and deliverables that support the overall People and Culture vision and strategy.
Serve as a trusted counsel to Engineering and Product leaders on people matters, including complex employee relations and performance issues.
Lead global planning cycles such as compensation planning, goal setting, and performance reviews, coordinating closely with leaders to execute them.
Lead HR projects such as restructuring, reorganizations, and merit cycles, guiding leaders on approach and timelines and supporting them through completion.
Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business strategy.
Anticipate future capability needs and proactively address emerging people challenges.
Champion Cin7’s values, culture, and employee engagement across your teams.
Provide clear, accurate people data and analysis to inform decisions and communicate updates to leaders.
Partner with the Assistant Manager, HR & Administration (Sri Lanka) and the HR Business Partner (New Zealand) to set priorities, share best practices, and support their work across the matrix.
