INTRODUCTION:
We are the #1 FitTech provider for businesses globally and are rapidly expanding our presence in India with a new office in Hyderabad. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Operations Generalist to join our team. This role is based in Hyderabad, with the expectation to work both remotely and in the office for three days a week, with some overlap in U.S. hours. Reporting to the Hyderabad People Operations Manager, you will be a key part of our Global People Experience team, which spans North America, Europe, and India.
As our Junior HR Operations Generalist, your primary focus will be managing the Global Jira Help Desk and ensuring a positive and equitable global employee experience. This role is ideal for an entry-level HR professional eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, global environment.
*All applicants must be able to work from our local Hyderabad office 3x a week and when there are onsite candidate interviews.*
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Take ownership of the Global Jira Help Desk, managing HR inquiries and requests from team members worldwide and ensuring timely resolution.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of new hires and departures, with a focus on Europe and APAC regions, including local Hyderabad employees.
- Assist with the administration of global HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated clearly to employees.
- Provide on-site HR Generalist (HRG) support for the Hyderabad office, assisting with employee relations and supporting managers as needed.
- Help with the coordination of performance development processes, including handling employee relations issues and supporting local managers.
- Support the growing Hyderabad employee population, answering employee questions and providing HR guidance.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 2+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, with a focus on employee relations and HR compliance.
- Experience with Workday HRIS.
- Experience using an HR ticketing system, preferably Jira.
- Basic understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse, global team.
- Flexibility to work hybrid hours in Hyderabad, with overlap to accommodate U.S. time zones.
AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:
- Experience supporting global People Operations across multiple regions.
- Exposure to global benefits administration, particularly in Europe and APAC regions.
- Experience working in a SaaS or tech company, especially in a high-growth environment.
- Interest in Learning & Development and employee training initiatives.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR).
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining employee handbooks for a global audience.
