Global Sustaining Engineering Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated Global Sustaining Engineering Intern to support our engineering team by addressing and troubleshooting technical issues across global teams. This role primarily requires working in the US time zone, with structured reporting aligned to India time.The intern will play a key role in ensuring seamless issue resolution, effective communication, and coordination between Aera’s US and India teams. You will report directly to the Lead Sustaining Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Issue Monitoring & Resolution: Actively track and address technical issues reported by the US/global teams during their working hours.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with the India engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Timely Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Lead Sustaining Engineering on ongoing and completed tasks.
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and problem-solving.
• Process Documentation: Assist in documenting debugging steps, troubleshooting techniques, and issue resolutions for future reference.

About You

• Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Java, JavaScript, and React.js for full-stack development.
• SQL and database management for issue troubleshooting.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) knowledge is a plus.
• Good understanding of system architecture and software lifecycle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
