We seek a Specialist/Lead - Governance, Risk and Compliance (Data Compliance Program)
who would support designing, implementing, and overseeing ZS's Data Compliance Program, ensuring that all third party data usage, storage, and sharing activities comply with applicable laws, contractual terms, and internal policies.
What You'll Do:
- Governance & Oversight
- Lead the ZS's overall data compliance strategy and framework in alignment with contractual obligations, regulations and ZS policies
- Establish, maintain, and improve policies and processes within the Program
- Manage and regularly review documented risks and ensure mitigation actions are tracked to closure.
- Compliance Operations
- Conduct regular internal audits to verify adherence to regulatory, contractual, and internal data requirements.
- Provide guidance to project teams on compliant data usage and cross-border data transfer practices.
- Cross-Functional Coordination and Leadership
- Partner with Data Office, Knowledge Services and Legal, as needed
- Mentor junior team members
- Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop dashboards and regular compliance reports that can be helpful to various leadership teams
- Help with investigations into data incidents, coordinating remediation and regulatory notifications where required.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree with record of high academic achievement in any field with at least 5+ years of experience in a compliance/audit role
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams
- Basic understanding of compliance and risk assessments
- Good excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong understanding of third party data, data subscriptions and usage
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Identify improvement opportunities in the Program
- Basic Microsoft office understanding (e.g. MS Excel, MS PPT, MS Word, etc.)
- Law Degree & CISA, CRISC, or equivalent compliance/audit certification preferred
- Fluency in English
- Client-first mentality

- Collaborative spirit and problem-solving approach
