As the Head of HR & Admin, you will be responsible for building and leading the people operations that power our entire organization. This role involves acting as the operational leader of our Mumbai office, ensuring every team has the people, systems, and support needed. You will have significant autonomy to shape culture, improve processes, and help scale a company supporting multiple consumer brands across ecommerce, marketing, technology, and creative services.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Lead all HR operations for our Mumbai office.
  • Build and execute hiring strategies across multiple departments.
  • Recruit exceptional talent while creating an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Partner with department leaders to plan headcount and organizational growth.
  • Develop onboarding programs that set new hires up for long-term success.
  • Establish performance management frameworks and career development programs.
  • Build initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and company culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, leave administration, benefits, and HR documentation.
  • Manage office administration, facilities, vendors, and workplace operations.
  • Develop and improve HR policies, SOPs, and internal processes.
  • Handle employee relations professionally and confidentially.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Build scalable systems that support rapid company growth.
  • Serve as the primary operational leader for our India office.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive HR and administrative leadership experience.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience leading HR teams in a fast-growing organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance.
  • Extensive experience recruiting across technical, creative, marketing, and corporate functions.
  • Experience designing HR policies and organizational processes.
  • Strong understanding of payroll administration and employee lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing office administration and facilities.
