Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Network Operations to join our Networking team. In this role, you will be responsible for the high-level design, strategic planning, and implementation of state-of-the-art network technologies to ensure peak business efficiency.
You will lead a high-performing team focused on driving innovation within the Data Center sector, collaborating closely with Network Engineering and Network Operations Center (NOC) teams to deliver world-class infrastructure solutions.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Lead the architectural design and implementation of global network systems, including Cloud networks and Data Center Interconnect (DCI), to provide actionable technical solutions for complex business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to manage large-scale technology upgrades and represent project requirements during critical infrastructure shifts.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and international regulations, including International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 and Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) audits.
- What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
20+ years of comprehensive experience in network operations, with at least 10 years in senior-level routing, switching, and design.
Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst systems, as well as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocols.
Proven ability in managing complex network troubleshooting, DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) configuration, and Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) implementations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, supported by industry-standard certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
