Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Technology Finance for India & Philippines, Finance Director.
Finance Division
Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo's fiscal management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company's investment portfolios. They also inform shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines.
Technology Finance Division
Technology Finance acts as a trusted business partner to the Technology team by measuring cost and value, providing insights, analytics, and recommendations to facilitate good business decisions and to maximize the value delivered to our customers. Technology Finance has the following accountabilities: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Reporting, Analytics and Insights, Workforce and Portfolio Management, Third Party Financial Operations and Transformation, Innovation & Tooling
In this role, you will:
- Manage two or more specialized teams responsible for the largest and most complex financial advisory services impacting one more Business Lines companywide
- Focus on delivering solutions for the business groups based on financial research and economic research that may have critical impact on the long term business performance
- Direct a team of managers or more experienced level consultants to ensure effective consultation, report of product pricing, key metrics forecasting, validation and support various financial viability assessments
- Identify opportunities for efficient and effective support in providing key finance services such as management reporting and research for key metric forecasting
- Supervise the success of large, companywide complex projects and initiatives
- Lead finance team by making strategic decisions to resolve issues with high critical impact in order to bring success to the enterprise
- Provide guidelines for compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and works with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Finance
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Finance experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Provide vision and set direction for three branches of the Technology Finance teams that provide direct support and more centralized functions and administration – partners to CIOs, partnering to enabling CIOs and Central team support.
- Be part of and lead multiple high impact initiatives to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact companywide and management across functions.
- Provide strategic consultation to leaders companywide regarding Technology Investments.
- Focus on delivering solutions for the business groups based on financial research and economic research that may have critical impact on the long-term business performance. Serve as a liaison between the finance and technology department to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Direct a team of managers to ensure effective consultation, key metrics forecasting, validation and support various financial viability assessments.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
- Mentor, coach, and properly direct a team to build their own technical knowledge while delegating work appropriately throughout the team to achieve this goal.
- Communicate best practices and procedures for proper internal control activities in accordance with the company's internal controls policies.
Job Expectations:
In this role, you will lead a team of approximately ninety individuals responsible for overseeing the financial management of an organizations’ technology related initiatives, ensuring alignment between financial strategies and company’s technological goals. Key responsibilities will include FP&A A& Strategy, Cost management through operational effectiveness, collaborating with stakeholder and management. Furthermore, you will help maintain and develop internal control standards and ensure proper risk management within the function.
