What will you be doing?
As an HR Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR operations, particularly in maintaining our HR database, facilitating employee agreements, assisting with recruitment, and contributing to the onboarding process. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain HR Database: Update and maintain employee records accurately in our HR database, ensuring all information is current and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Employee Agreements: Draft and finalize employee agreements in collaboration with the HR Manager, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Upload agreements to Docusign for electronic signature and record-keeping.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements on various platforms, identifying potential candidates, and coordinating interviews. Conduct reference checks and provide support to hiring managers as needed.
- Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process by coordinating logistics such as arranging access to necessary tools and systems, distributing welcome packs, and facilitating orientation sessions.
- Ad Hoc Support: Collaborate with the Talent Manager on various ad hoc projects and duties as needed, including but not limited to HR initiatives, policy updates, and employee engagement activities.
What will you bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 Years proven experience in an HR assistant or similar role.
- Must be able to work EST timezone
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred) and proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
