HR Data Analyst  

 

As an HR Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting data related to our people. Your insights will be utilized to drive strategic decisions around headcount, recruitment, turnover/retention, talent management, and employee engagement across the company. Your expertise will be leveraged for systemization, process improvement and identification of future opportunities for efficiency and scale. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Data Governance:  

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR systems and databases 
  • Partner to develop and manage HR data dashboards and reporting 

Data Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform decision-making. 
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics (example: turnover, retention, headcount, engagement, time to hire) 
  • Present data findings in a clear and actionable manner that tells a story 
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to understand reporting and analytics needs across the business 

Process Improvement: 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in HR operations based on data analysis and governance 
  • Support systemization to enhance data collection and analysis capabilities 
  • Determine future opportunities and recommendations on how to leverage data to assess the effectiveness of our HR programs 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics 
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis or a related field 
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (example PowerBI) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise manner 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy 
  • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures
