Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and employee-centric HR Generalist to support key HR functions across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in employee relations, performance management, learning & development, HR operations, and policy compliance within a fast-paced IT Services environment. This role requires strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to drive employee engagement while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

HR Operations & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Generate periodic HR reports and dashboards related to attrition, engagement, training, and performance metrics.
  • Support payroll inputs, leave management, and attendance administration.
  • Manage HR operations using HRMS platforms such as GreytHR
Compliance & Policy Management
  • Ensure adherence to company HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies.
  • Conduct policy awareness sessions and ensure employee understanding of workplace guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations PF, ESI, & PT.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with organizational standards and statutory requirements.
Employee Life Cycle Management
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
  • Conduct employee induction and orientation programs for new joiners.
  • Ensure timely documentation and maintenance of employee records in HRMS.
  • Support workforce planning and employee data management activities.
  • Coordinate exit formalities, conduct exit interviews, and analyse attrition trends.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support grievance handling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
  • Conduct employee connect sessions and engagement surveys.
  • Partner with managers to improve employee experience and retention.
Performance Management
  • Coordinate the Performance Management System (PMS) cycle across the organization.
  • Monitor goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual performance appraisal processes.
  • Track completion of performance evaluations and calibration discussions.
  • Assist managers in performance improvement plans (PIPs) and employee development discussions.
  • Generate performance-related reports and HR analytics.


Requirements

          

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in IT Operation.
  • Strong knowledge of IT industry dynamics, job roles, and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant software.
  • Sound understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance issues.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • MBA/PGDM with specialization in Human Resources preferred.
  • Additional HR certifications will be an advantage.
