We are offering the opportunity to join our IAM team to architect secure access solutions, implement identity governance, and strengthen our security posture through advanced IAM technologies and strategic initiatives.
As a member of the Enterprise Information Security team, the IAM Engineer I is an essential part of our cybersecurity operations. In this role, you will learn the foundations of identity and access management by supporting the team with daily operational tasks, assisting users with access issues, and contributing to the security of our organization. Roles and Responsibilities:
This is an entry-level role for an enthusiastic individual looking to start their career in cybersecurity. This position focuses on supporting the day-to-day operations of the identity and access management systems and learning the fundamentals of identity security from a team of experienced professionals.
User Support & Operations:
Serve as the first point of contact for user access issues, including troubleshooting account lockouts and permission problems.
Handle daily IAM operational tasks, such as user account provisioning, de-provisioning, and modifications in systems like Active Directory / Okta / LDAP.
Process access requests and manage user roles following established procedures.
Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Support:
Operate within the One Identity platform to process access requests submitted by users.
Assist users in navigating the IGA system and help troubleshoot basic workflow issues.
Support senior team members in testing and validating new IGA workflows.
System Monitoring & Maintenance:
Assist in monitoring IAM systems, reviewing alerts, and escalating potential issues to senior engineers according to runbooks and procedures.
Help maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles for common issues.
Participate in access certification campaigns by helping to generate reports and track completion.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the IT help desk / business stakeholders to resolve user tickets efficiently.
Support IAM Engineers and Senior Engineers on project tasks as needed.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to build your knowledge of IAM principles and technologies.
Basic Requirements
0-2 years of experience in an Information Technology role, preferably with exposure to IT support or cybersecurity.
A strong and demonstrable interest in a cybersecurity career.
Basic understanding of IT concepts such as Active Directory, cloud services, and networking.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to follow procedures and a willingness to ask questions.
A strong desire to learn and grow in the cybersecurity field.
Familiarity with platforms like Okta or One Identity is a plus but not required.
