We are seeking a talented individual to join our Tech team at MMC Corporate in Mercer .This role will be based in Gurgaon/ Noida/Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Principal Engineer – IT Quality Engineering and Assurance

We will count on you to:

· Understand Business requirements and identify scenarios for Automated and Manual testing

· Design Automation test scripts ensuring proper coverage of regression

· Understanding API test resources, requirements and scripting

· Setup an Automation test framework

· Execution and maintenance of test scripts (Manual and Automated) and reporting results

· Investigate technical problems, needs and determine possible solutions

· Document test results, defect logs and issue logs wherever possible

· Participate in development of technical documentation where possible

· Status reporting to the Delivery Lead and Reporting Manager

· Communicate effectively with team members and stake holders of the project delivery team

· Work with Test Leads to improve ROI of overall automated and functional tests

· To own MercerTech initiatives along with Quality Engineering Leads

· Drive Agile Continuous improvement initiatives with Delivery Leads

What you need to have:

· 4+ years’ experience in the IT industry. Demonstrable experience of working on successful test programs on enterprise scale applications or projects

· Experience of working in scrum teams within SAFe delivery framework will be preferred

· Experience in applying GenAI capabilities for BAU work effectiveness, practical usecases

· Experience of working in Agile POD, Squad model and In-Sprint Automation

· Demonstrable experience of working in Programs on enterprise scale applications or projects

Technical Skillset required:

· Experience in UI and API test automation

· Exposure to GenAI utilities - Copilot or equivalent plugin or tooling

· Specific experience with the following:

· Experience of UI Automation with WebdriverIO and SauceVisual

· API test automation with RestAssured and PactumJS

· Proficiency in TypeScript and Core Java

· Experience of Jmeter and LoadRunner for Performance testing will be a plus

· Experience of using AzureDevOps for End-to-End Test delivery

· Repository, CI/CD Pipeline management experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions

Eligibility:

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Senior Engineer (C1)/Principal Engineer (C2).

• Should have at least “On Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal

• Should not be under any Performance Continuity Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months

• Should not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer in the last 3 months
