The Role
At Simply.TV, we believe in continuous cultivation at the highest operational standards leads to a thriving workplace. As an Image Editor, you’ll play a key role in delivering top quality and accurate imagery to our valued customers.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all client standards are met on tight deadlines. In this role, you will use Adobe Photoshop and Image Production Guidelines to create and edit program artwork, program logos, and other related imagery to produce high quality television listings. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, takes pride in delivering great quality of work, and has a keen eye for design.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Using Adobe Photoshop and Image Production Guidelines to create/alter program artwork, program logos, movie posters, movie/program stills, and other related media content
- Accurately labeling and saving all created imagery to the appropriate media storage locations.
- Researching program and movie titles for relative program information and image content
- Minor image manipulation/editing.
- Cropping images to fit into pre-approved Simply.TV sizing standards.
- Altering existing program artwork that has undergone a title change

Requirements

- Proficiency in a Windows-based work environment
- Strong analytical and internet research skills
- Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent written & spoken English skills
- A collaborative attitude and eagerness to contribute to a fast-moving media environment
- Excellent understanding of graphic design principles, layout, color theory and typography
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Submit a digital portfolio or link to your digital portfolio. Please include 2-4 examples of your use of typography and 2-4 examples of image work that displays photo editing or photo manipulation ability in Photoshop.

Benefits
Collaboration based on a contractor set-up is 3.46 USD per hour on a full-time allocation basis (40 hours per week).
