Job Description:
Sells or renews the company’s products, systems and/or services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territory, industry or accounts. May generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. Focus on lead qualification and lead prospecting. Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities.

Key responsibilities :
Sales Order Processing & Execution
• Assist the sales team in preparing and processing sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with operations to track order fulfillment, inventory availability, and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper invoicing, payment processing, and credit approvals.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all sales transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Act as a bridge between the sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve order-related issues efficiently.
• Communicate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Support the finance team in tracking outstanding payments and follow-ups on overdue invoices.
Sales Documentation & Compliance
• Ensure all sales orders, contracts, and related documents are properly recorded and maintained.
• Verify pricing, discounts, and terms of sales agreements before finalizing orders.
• Assist in generating sales reports and forecasts to support business decision-making.
Process Improvement & Support
• Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to enhance order execution efficiency.
• Provide training and support to sales team members on internal order management systems and tools.
• Stay updated on company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
Lead Management & Customer Support
• Track, qualify, and distribute incoming sales leads to the appropriate sales representatives.
• Follow up on leads via phone or email to ensure timely engagement and conversion.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, order status updates, and post-sales support.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to the relevant teams for quick resolution.
Desired work experience, education & skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or order processing roles.
• Strong knowledge of sales order management, invoicing, and coordination with operations/finance
• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ERP tools for order processing.
• Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions and team collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
