We’re looking for an Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Enablement team and build high‑impact learning experiences that prepare our customer‑facing teams to support Motive’s products confidently.
You’ll work across multiple product domains (software, integrations, mobile, web, and hardware) to design and develop e‑learning and blended training, with a particular focus on new hire onboarding (NHO) and ongoing product launch enablement for Customer Support, Technical Support, and Implementation teams. This role is a great fit if you enjoy turning complex, technical information into clear, engaging learning that directly improves customer outcomes.
This is a remote role based in Pakistan.
What You'll Do:- Design and develop training content (eLearning, ILT, VILT, and blended) for Motive product launches and internal programs, from initial concept through final delivery.
- Own the end‑to‑end course creation process: intake requirements, analyze audience needs, define learning objectives, storyboard, build, review, and iterate.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across Product, Engineering, Support, and Implementation to translate technical workflows and features into learner‑friendly experiences.
- Build interactive e‑learning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline / Rise, Adobe Captivate, and related authoring tools.
- Configure, upload, and manage content in our LMS, ensuring courses are correctly structured, tested, and assigned to the right audiences.
- Create supporting learning assets, including slides, facilitator guides, job aids, knowledge checks, and assessments that reinforce performance on the job.
- Continuously improve existing courses and NHO content based on product changes, feedback, and performance data.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping stakeholders informed on timelines, risks, and dependencies while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Maintain quality and consistency in instructional approach, visual design, and tone by contributing to and following team standards, templates, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with other Instructional Designers and trainers to share patterns, review each other’s work, and contribute to a strong learning culture.
What We're Looking For:Must‑Haves
- 2–3 years of experience in instructional design, digital learning, or educational technology.
- Hands‑on experience with LMS and authoring tools, including:
- Articulate Storyline and/or Rise
- Adobe Captivate (or equivalent)
- Proven track record designing and developing learning solutions, such as:
- Self‑paced eLearning
- Instructor‑Led Training (ILT), Virtual ILT (VILT), or blended programs
- Experience working with SMEs and stakeholders to:
- Gather requirements and understand training needs
- Define clear learning outcomes and success criteria
- Review and refine content for technical accuracy
- Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize work, and deliver against multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in simplifying complex or technical concepts for non‑expert audiences.
- Solid organization and version‑control habits when handling multiple courses, iterations, and assets.
- Creativity and problem‑solving mindset focused on designing engaging learning experiences, not just slide decks or information dumps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with design and media tools, such as:
Photoshop, Illustrator
- Video‑editing tools (e.g., Premiere, Camtasia, or similar)
- Experience working in a tech‑based or SaaS company, especially with products that span web, mobile, and hardware.
- Experience designing training for customer support, technical support, or implementation teams.
- Comfort working in modern collaboration environments (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Jira/Confluence, Miro/Figma or similar).
