Insurance Domain Consultant - ISG

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ insurance business processes across Life, P&C, and Reinsurance domains.
• Gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology, operations, and transformation initiatives.
• Advise clients on insurance products, underwriting, policy administration, claims, billing, and compliance processes.
• Support digital transformation programs including core system modernization, automation, and data-driven decision solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization to improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (business, IT, actuarial, operations) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Participate in system implementation, testing (SIT/UAT), and change management activities.
• Provide domain expertise during vendor evaluations for insurance platforms and tools.
• Develop training materials and mentor stakeholders on new processes and systems.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of core insurance systems (policy admin, claims, billing, CRM).
• Familiarity with industry platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, SAP FS, Majesco, etc.).
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
