Job Summary
This role is part of the Int'l Tender and Contracting (T&C) Center of Excellence, which purpose it is to win more tenders at better prices with a streamlined, robust & automated process. The Int'l Tender and Contracting (T&C) Senior Business Analyst strengthens the Int'l T&C Insights capabilities. In a player coach model together with the Int'l T&C Strategic Insights Lead, you will turn T&C data into clear, decision‑ready insights that raise trust in T&C data, sharpen planning, and support timely execution across markets. Your day‑to‑day will balance disciplined data‑quality stewardship with recurring and custom analyses, complemented with visuals that International T&C Strategic Insights Lead and market/cross-functional colleagues can act on quickly.
The role will work closely with the Int'l Strategic Engagement Lead/Senior Manager and local T&C Leads, helping them self‑serve data checks and inform them about outstanding data quality concerns. The role's core systems and outputs sit in GTCS and Excel; Salesforce proficiency is required and Tableau is a plus. Key Areas of Responsibility
This role takes responsibility for mainly three focus areas: ensuring data quality and running/visualizing outcomes.
Ensure data quality:
o Run GTCS reports and conduct systematic data-quality checks during monthly cycles and annual planning initiatives.
o Identify data inconsistencies based on pre-set validation conditions and flag anomalies outside these rules.
o Flag any data concern that falls outside pre‑set checks.
o Create and maintain GTCS/Excel reports that help countries run their own checks.
o Monitor and report data‑quality KPIs monthly.
o Liaise with the Market Engagement Manager to fix data errors in GTCS.
o Provide suggestions to improve data quality.
o Leverage cutting-edge technology to ensure data quality and efficiency
Run analysis and visualize outcomes:
o Run recurring analysis in GTCS.
o Create custom analyses per direction from the International T&C Strategic Insights Lead (e.g., deep dives; time‑series comparisons).
o Summarize and visualize findings based on guidance from the International T&C Strategic Insights Lead.
o Provide input, monitor progress, and participate in testing for reports developed by 3rd parties.
o Run adhoc profitability analysis for key tenders or across a portfolio.
Qualifications and Experience
o 5 years of experience in data analysis within commercial or operations settings, T&C experience is a plus
o Track record of improving data quality and converting analysis into process improvement related insights
o Ability to translate complex findings into concise takeaways
o Proficient Salesforce and Excel knowledge (including Pivot Tables), Tableau experience is a plus
o Methodical data‑quality mindset and the ability to design simple, repeatable reporting that colleagues can use themselves
o Hands-on problem-solving skills and willingness to dive into details to support broader initiatives.
