Leidos is searching our next Intelligence Analyst to perform research and analysis for an applied R&D contract in Albuquerque New Mexico. You will get to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in collaboration with Government researchers doing interesting analysis primarily in an office environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform intelligence research, compilation, and analysis, creating documentation in support of technical researchers
- Coordinate and collaborate with other intelligence professionals
- The ideal candidate will work independently as well as with a team, learn new skills quickly, demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be organized, detail-oriented, careful, flexible, and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree in global and national security, international affairs, or equivalent related field with 2 - 6 years of experience.
- Must have at least a Secret security clearance
- Must be able to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience with the following: Department of Defense intelligence databases; classified documentation
- Good computer skills using MS Windows are required, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Has Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
- Good working relationship with DoD intelligence community members
- Experience translating intelligence reports on emerging threats into a form useful for applied research
- Experience drafting and submitting RFIs to the DoD IC members
