Job Brief:

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an IT Engineer to be responsible for our India office's IT needs as well as working on global IT initiatives. They would join a tremendously hardworking, global and diverse technology team and work closely with the IT Lead. They need to have a passion for technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving, along with a professional and kind attitude. 

Job Description:

  • Responding to staff members' support requests.
  • Contacting staff members directly to find out the nature of the problem.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
  • Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
  • Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
  • Providing basic training in computer operation and management.
  • Completing job reports and ordering supplies.
  • Work on global IT initiatives.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Prior experience with 1 -3 years as an IT engineer or related position.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, peripherals and networking.
  • Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
  • Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
  • Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
