Provides L3 incident support, manages vendors and SLAs, maintains documentation and compliance, leads infrastructure upgrades and migrations, supports audits, performs root-cause analysis, and guides infrastructure engineers.
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong IT Infrastructure Lead to manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for the Pune location. The role is responsible for networking, servers, storage, backup, disaster recovery, surveillance systems, end-user computing, infrastructure security and daily IT operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure the availability, performance, security and scalability of the IT environment while leading infrastructure projects, managing vendors and providing advanced technical support for critical incidents.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routing and switching infrastructure.
- Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware/Hyper-V and Microsoft 365.
- Manage SAN/NAS storage, backups, restoration and disaster-recovery processes.
- Maintain CCTV, access-control systems, server rooms, racks, structured cabling and UPS infrastructure.
- Ensure infrastructure monitoring, security patching, endpoint protection and compliance.
- Provide L3 support for critical network, server and infrastructure incidents.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, office expansions, migrations and technology-refresh projects.
- Manage OEMs, ISPs and service providers and ensure SLA compliance.
- Maintain IT asset records, SOPs, network diagrams and infrastructure documentation.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support internal, client and information-security audits.
- Guide infrastructure engineers and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Enterprise networking using Cisco, Aruba, HPE, Fortinet or equivalent technologies
- Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
- VMware/Hyper-V virtualisation
- SAN/NAS storage and Veeam or equivalent backup solutions
- Firewall, VPN, endpoint security and patch management
- Microsoft 365 administration

- Strong troubleshooting, vendor management and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Experience leading infrastructure projects and providing L3 support.
- Manufacturing, automotive or R&D environment experience is preferred.
- CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet or ITIL certification is desirable.
