About the Role:
As a Sr. Product Manager for IT Operations at CrowdStrike, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our IT-managed platforms, tools, and AI initiatives. You will drive the product management lifecycle for key internal platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of various departments, including IT Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Finance, Human Resources, and Legal. Your leadership will be crucial in executing seamless Proof of Concepts (PoCs), driving user adoption, delivering training, and tracking analytics and product performance.
What You'll Do:
Platform Management as a Product:
- Product manage key IT platforms, applications, and tools as internal products with a focus on lifecycle management, user experience, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads and executive sponsors to ensure platforms
- meet strategic business needs and deliver maximum value.
Product Management of AI Initiatives:
- Lead AI initiatives from a product management perspective, overseeing toolslike Gemini, ChatGPT, SlackAI, Glean AI, and GenAI Hub.
- Drive the successful execution of PoCs, user adoption, training and enablement and performance tracking.
- Measure and report on metrics such as User Adoption Rate, Model Accuracy, and Business Impact.
OKRs/Workboard Transformation in IT Operations:
- Roll out OKRs across product department, ensuring visibility and alignment with strategic goals.
- Lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and manage scorecards to track progress and measure outcomes for product.
- Foster a data-driven culture within IT Operations by implementing data DNA practices.
- Metrics and KPIs Management: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to platform performance, customer satisfaction, AI adoption, and business impact.
- Focus on metrics such as Platform Uptime, iNPS, XLA, CSAT, and ROI to drive continuous improvement.
Key Services/Capabilities:
- Platform Management: Manage platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, SlackAI, Engageware, Gmail, Morpheus Data, and others, focusing on product performance and user satisfaction.
- AI Initiatives: Oversee the adoption and performance of AI tools, ensuring they deliver tangible business value.
- OKRs and Workboard Transformation:Lead the adoption of OKRs within the Product team, ensuring alignment with business goals and tracking progress through scorecards.
Challenges and Pain Points:
- Mindset Shift: Drive the transition from a traditional IT organization to a product-driven IT organization, fostering a mindset and culture change.
- Data Tracking: Overcome challenges in data tracking and trend analysis to support better decision-making.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in technical product management preferably within IT, with a focus on platform/application management and AI initiatives.
- Strong understanding of OKRs and their implementation in IT environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various departments.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong focus on metrics and KPIs.
Bonus Points:
- Experience managing platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, SlackAI, and other IT tools.
- Familiarity with AI-driven product management and user adoption strategies.
- Previous experience in a product-driven IT organization is a plus.
