Senior IT Portfolio Analyst
Position Summary
The Senior IT Portfolio Analyst is responsible for overseeing the governance and controls of IT projects including resource planning, reporting on operational metrics and ensuring projects are executing in adherence to IT Project Management processes. This role will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing accountability of a new IT Portfolio & Project Management platform.
Key Deliverables

Conduct regular portfolio reviews to assess performance, identify risks, and optimize resource allocation. Assists in the development of the IT portfolio strategy and roadmap.

Streamling project request intake and ideation proceses for IT programs and projects.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of IT investments.
Track and analyze portfolio performance, providing insights to drive continuous improvement. -
Manage governance processes ands resource allocation across multiple IT departments, optimizing the use of resources for efficient project delivery

Ensure the accuracy of project data across the IT portfolio and improver data quality

Leverage portfolio management tools to track, analyze, and report on IT investments.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to optimize portfolio management practices. -
Advocating for the PMO and serving as the subject matter expert on project management.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
-
Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

5-10 years' experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO) & experience in leading project teams

Proficient with MS Project, Visio and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams); Experience with portfolio management tools (e.g., PPM software).

Ability to resolve conflict, negotiate desired outcomes and influence others
Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills. -
Competent with various project methodologies including Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile.
