As part of the Bosch group, we operate in one of its four main business areas – the Building and Energy Technologies unit. There is a historical reason for it. We used to be part of Bosch Security Systems (producer of security hardware and security solutions). For them we managed for e.g. on-going product maintenance or the emergency and monitoring call center.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership skills to design and implement innovative IT solutions that align with our business objectives. You will play a crucial role in consulting with both internal and external stakeholders to analyze business processes and recommend effective solutions.
- Consult with internal and external customers to investigate, analyze, and model business activities and problems, recommending appropriate IT solutions.
- Utilize the requirements engineering process to ensure that requirements are complete, unambiguous, realistic, and testable.
- Leverage advanced IT resources to create and implement effective IT solutions.
- Communicate solutions clearly to all stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and technical staff.
- Model and evaluate business processes for existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align the IT roadmap with business strategy, incorporating the latest trends in service technology.
- Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and project budget planning.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a related field (such as an MBA in Business, Computer Science, or Programming) or an industry-recognized qualification in Business Analysis, System Architecture, or Project Management.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in designing IT solutions and a solid IT/computer science background.
- Exposure to project management and experience working in structured projects.
- Familiarity with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business model.
- Experience in modeling and mapping business processes.
- Knowledge of budget planning and financial forecasting.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence others.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure within tight timeframes.
- Strong logical and objective thinking abilities.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrable knowledge of business process mapping, business systems design, IT architecture, software development methodologies, contact center software solutions, unified communications solutions, and big data/data mining technologies.
