About this Role
As a part of your daily duties, you will be working on the company platform including microservices, REST APIs, machine learning libraries, customized algorithms, and NoSQL datastores. You’ll get a chance to proactively work on different problems in big data and an opportunity to work on the latest technology stack. Your role would be that of an individual contributor who will be expected to take ownership of certain product features and take initiatives to improve already-existing products. As a member of the engineering team , you will be working with cross-functional teams, customers and open source communities. You will have the opportunity to take part in building new industry-changing services in our portfolio.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Excellent Computer Science fundamentals (Algorithms, Data Structures, OS,).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Design patterns, OOP concepts and functional programming.
• Strong problem-solving and data analytic skills.
• Hands-on experience in either one of the following: J2EE, Spring, Java 8, Python or Scala.
• Prior exposure to any one of the following NoSQL datastores: MongoDB, Elastic search, REDIS etc.
Additional Qualifications
• Good knowledge of developing enterprise level distributed solutions.
• Prior exposure to agile software development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting and linux commands.
